Dru Parker

I am a third-generation Marin County native and have lived in San Rafael since 1997. I understand why North Bay residents choose to live here and my goal is to help people thrive in this place we love and call home.

 

I graduated from Tamalpais High and have a Bachelors degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Mills College, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. I earned certifications in Professional Fiduciary Management for Conservators and Trustees from Cal State Fullerton. As a Deputy Public Guardian for the County of Marin I acted as Probate Conservator of the Person, Conservator of the Estate, Representative Payee and Special Needs Trustee for a diverse population of clients. I am also a Notary Public.

As an animal lover, I am particularly concerned about what happens to beloved family pets when their human best friends die or become incapacitated. I work with local animal rescue organizations to find a new forever home for the family pet, be it fish, dog, cat, horse, chicken or pygmy goat!
